It was in these rooms, furnished with good furniture, that the apartments of the house owner, the Merchant Anfisa Borodulina, were located. The windows were looking out into the blooming garden, where Antonovka and Vladimir cherry trees were growing, and the purple lilac was fragrant in the spring. The wall clock was slowly keeping time of mortal life. The walls were decorated with narrative paintings, and a prayed-in icon was hanging in the corner. From time to time, the summoning bell was ringing (now it is kept in the museum cafe on the first floor of the house), and the merchantress was asking to put a samovar or bring kvass from the cellar. They say that to this day, her shadow appears in the window at midnight. The merchantress stands motionless, waiting for someone.
During the daytime, the room is enlightened by four windows facing a quiet courtyard; at night-by two multi-arm chandeliers and table lamps.
The room has a double bed with Askona spring mattress and a folding sofa for two people. If necessary, a wooden baby crib is provided.
The room is equipped with a shower cabin and a spacious toilet room with a bidet.
The Merchant's room has two niches decorated with antiques. In one of them, there is a rare exhibit. This is a piece of wallpaper from the Kazan scientist's house, Karl Fuchs, where Pushkin had dinner in September 1833.
The hotel itself is located in the famous Merchant's house. It was on the second floor of this house that the merchantress rented out her rooms. The Merchant's room completely recreates that epoch and the history of the house itself, allowing you to immerse yourself in its atmosphere.

My daughter and I chose the hotel by location. After seeing the photo and description of KAZANSKY Hotel Museum, we chose it. And our expectations were met! We stayed in the Khan's room: small in size but very cozy. A chic shower room, many towels, good cosmetics, beautiful bathrobes, a very comfortable bed, another sleeping place for an adult is organized above the shower. There are a lot of useful little things in the general stylistic solution. Two windows overlook the closed courtyard. The sound insulation is perfect. Only the sound of running water in the shower of our room was heard. I will be happy to recommend the hotel to my friends. The next time I visit the city, I will be happy to stay in the Loft or the Merchant rooms. Breakfast is served in the cafe on the 1st floor, decorated in the same museum style. Five breakfast options to choose from are delicious, satisfying, and beautiful!

Our room was small but very racy! The Khan's one)) There is a third place at the top. You need to climb up the ladder. It will be inconvenient for small children, and it will be very cool for older children cause there is a full-fledged double bed with sockets and a lamp. We stayed for one night, so if there are any shortcomings, we did not notice them. Everything is there for a comfortable stay. The girls at the reception are very nice. They pour tea, treat, tell everything, and help. Breakfast in the museum cafe is delicious and hearty. And, of course, I liked the location of the hotel. There is nowhere more central)))) - 2 minutes from the Kremlin. We will be happy to return to this hotel museum!

The room and the hotel itself are very atmospheric. An old merchant's house is in the very center, almost at the entrance to the Kazan Kremlin. There are very friendly administrators. We were not denied any request. For breakfast, you need to go down and walk down the street to a cafe. In general, I liked everything.
